Tomatoes for long healthy hair / Los tomates y tu cabello

I am a product junkie, But I also like to experiment with the ingredients that mother nature has to offer. I cook 3 times a day anyway, so it is very easy for me to experiment with natural ingredients. While I was doing a tomato salad, something came to my mind: are Tomatoes good for my hair, lol can I use it on it?

Tomatoes are actually a fruit and not a vegetable. However, since it’s not as sweet as other fruits and is most often served as main dish, most people think that tomatoes are a vegetable. Tomatoes are loaded with vitamins A, B2, C and E, minerals: Sodium, calcium, iron, copper, potassium, phosphorous, magnesium, manganese and zinc. The red tomato has a lot of vitamin c and antioxidants that helps purify the hair and can be used to remove products build up...

You can apply tomatoes to your hair in a variety of ways, tomato paste, sauce or even tomato juice should work wonders. The acidity in the tomatoes helps to balance the Ph levels in your hair, bringing back its natural color, smell and stop hair falling. Tomato paste also acts as a good conditioner for the hair and brings the  natural shine to the hair.

Tomatoes mixed with chamomile tea will leave your hair soft, manageable and promote hair growth. Helps define your curls.
Hair mask: mash tomatos, olive oil and mayo leave in for 30 min.

Keep your body fit and your hair healthy with Chia Seed. /Semila de Chia para mantenerte en forma y un crecer un cabello saludable

Right after I stopped chemical relaxing my hair, my first stop was the vitamin shoppe. At that time they were the only ones carrying some natural hair products in my neighborhood , before sally's and Walmart; I went there to buy some vitamin and fitness supplement since I was a few pounds up, lol. Shopping there I came across Chia seed, read the package and brought  the seed home, at that time I didn't know what to do with them and how powerful they are..

Chia is a member of the mint family. The seeds are either white or black and both types are highly nutritious. Originally grown in Mexico and the Southwest between 1500 and 910 B.C., Chia seeds were an important part of the Aztec and Mayan diet. Aztec warriors used Chia as their main source of fuel during conquests. Medicinally, they also used it to relieve joint pain and stimulate saliva.

Chia seed can benefit you tremendously if you are trying to lose weight. The Chia Seed is a dieter’s dream come true. The tiny, healthy seeds can be made to taste like whatever you want, and their unique gelling action keeps you feeling full for hours.
If exposed to water, it forms a coating of gel, increasing its size and weight. Since the gel is made of water, it has no calories. It’s also difficult to remove from the seed, meaning that it helps your body think it is full, without adding calories!

You can make your own "Chia Agua Fresca" just add water and lemon, ummm healthy good and will help you control your hunger and craving for food.
You can add chai seed to salad, Oatmeal, Smoothie and pretty much anything..
