Holiday shopping can be very stressful and leave you pretty much broke with all the shopping, specially if you don't have a plan, but do not panic curly girl, here are my 5 tips to survive the holiday shopping season:
- Set a Budget: this seems like a no brainer, you can't spend what you don't have (I know some people do), curly girls are smart, so take a look at your bank account and make a decision on how much you can spend on holiday shopping. Take into consideration the miscellaneous things like wrapping paper, shipping, and gas.
- Make a list: Once you have your budget set, make a list, and stick to it, include service people. Do not fall into the deal and sale temptation.
- Become Ciber savvy: it is unbelievable how much time and money you can save if you compare the prices before you get off to the stores. Get savvy curly girl!!!
- Get Crafty: there is nothing better than a personalized gift. You can put together beautiful product and accessory gift baskets to be unique and show how much appreciation you have for that important person in your life.
- Sign up for reward programs: this is a great way to save this holiday season; you are already spending on holiday gifts, so why not get rewards while doing so. CVS ExtraBucks Reward program is amazing; when you spend $50 on beauty products at CVS/pharmacy you will get $5 ExtraBucks. Also, CVS/pharmacy has a special offer for Divina Latina products like TRESemmé Platinum Strength Strengthening Conditioner, that I love to detangle my hair, it fortifies and protects each strand to beautifully moisturize your hair, great for your crafty holiday gift or stocking.
